The Food and Drug Administration this week updated its list of which drugs are in short supply in the nation and which previous drug shortages have been resolved.
Based on data from drug manufacturers, the FDA's Drug Shortages Staff (DSS) designates when a drug shortage is resolved and market demands for the medicine are being fulfilled. The FDA deems a shortage resolved when at least one manufacturer can cover total demand.
DSS also tracks the supply of drugs whose status is labeled "Resolved."
